(verse)
If you've had the love of Grandma
then thank the Lord for her arms
Thank Him for the times
She rocked you and kept you warm.
And don't forget the cookies
and birthday cakes she made
those band-aids she put on your knees
and said:" Darlin' ,you'll be okay."
(chorus)
Grandma,
Someday I'll get to see you soar
cause' everytime I needed love
you gave me so much more
Someday you'll sit at Jesus feet
with your wings, spread out on the floor
and I'll wish I had more time with you
cause'that's what He made Grandma's for.
(verse)
My Grandma,
your hair as white as snow
is more beautiful to me
than you will ever know
there's nothing in this whole wide world
that could ever take your place
and if I could, I'd keep you here
to, forever see, your precious face.
Grandma
Someday I'll see you soar
cause'everytime I needed love
you gave me so much more
Someday you'll sit at Jesus feet
with your wings spred on the floor
I''ll wish I had more time with you
and I know, that's what He made Grandma's for.

This is amazing, I actually sang it and strummed my guitar as I read it! Great job! |
