Still I Believe

Contributed by mbs on Wednesday, 2nd February 2005 @ 08:46:53 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

So hard it seems for me,
To be someone ,that gets through each day with ease.
A little simplistic,
Requiring only peace -
In my life...
Some call me a mystic,
Which I believe is the way it is, I see-
That life, is more than what's within my sight,
I still believe the same, as I first did as a child -
That believes miracles, are a big part of life...

I still hold the visions,
I've always dreampt life has in store for me.
And one day my struggles will end,
And the prisoner within -
May at last be free.
Finally free, to see what this new existence has to offer,
How true happiness feels...

In a strange, yet, innocent manner -
My approach hasn't always been too smooth.
And,I've found as time passed , most of the people I'd met -
Found me, to be a fool...
Through pain and rejection,
Somehow I aquired the tools -

To rise above them all, and believe - still,
In miracles....

Somehow, the proof will be provided.
In my existence, my soul's always been protected.
Looking back, I feel I've been guided,
Even though, at the time I felt rejected... I was wrong,,,

God was truely watching over me.
Providing me with wisdom and truth.
Believe in miracles,
Open your eyes to an amazing view... In life -

Believe the miracle lies, in merely, being you.

Wonderful and wise words.

'That life, is more than what's within my sight,'
True- so often, we get discouraged at seeing the situation around us... but trust that God can see the greater view. And He'll use each pain, each failure only for your good...He can make a way where there seems to be no way.

The last line too is so profound.
Indeed, each person is special, a never-before, never-after miracle...'fearfully and wonderfully made'.

Thanks for sharing this.
