The Perfect Guy

I've been wastin' my time with tears in my eyes,
But now it's alright.
Cuz I'm with someone new
Who's not like you.

He's the kind of guy
Whose hand fits mine
It's a perfect fit.
So now that's it.

You can't get away with lies
So don't even try
I've weighed my options right
So now it's time to say goodnight.

This new guy's great
There's no time to wait
He lifts me up
to see the stars above.

Laying in the grass
watching the waves pass
talking about our day
feeling right in every way.

Looking at you,looking at me
This is my sign to say that I'm free.
Leaving's not an option anymore
This new guy's the key to a newly opened door.
