The right thing

What in the world are you doing?
you know that he cheated on you
I love you to death Ash
but you know you guys should be through

why are you two still together
you know the rumors are true
i saw him with her at that party
and wondered why he wasn't with you

You know you shouldn't be with him
I can't watch him hurt you so bad
You know he will do it again
Why let him make you so sad

I know that it would be hard
to watch him leave you for good
but I'll be here to help you
I'll help you do what you should

I know that you'll find someone better
someone who will love you too
You just have to give it some time
and do what you gotta do

I could relate to this poem so easily. You've told a story so many ppl could easily put themselves into. And the last part really gave u a nice sense of hope that things will eventually change for the better. Great write!
