I Suffocate

Deep tender emotional lust, caught within green circles
Twisted between fate and what possibly could be
dark black wings on a pale white canvas
Intertwined within a thought and what you could see
I asphyxiate on syllables of words that never form into sound
Tied up, lifting me to places my feet never touch ground
In your energy I see a vision of my souls eulogy
Being spoken by a man with no face
I blink and I catch your eyes spark like fire
The ability to breath leaves without a trace
Your smile shines like jesus on a steel cross
While my emotion and love have been dulled by pain and loss
I wish I could tell, believe me I've tried
Yet all I feel stays bottled up inside
