Grief

As my baby gently sleeps
I shall keep him safe in the womb of my hands,
Promising to protect this unexpectancy
because inside lay a part of me.
Bound together, we were one
We shared a life....an intimate experience,
And they could not destroy it.
In a tight warm corner
We were combined
In a tight warm corner....lay my sleeping child.
But He told me it was the only right decision,
He too had to let go ...of our creation
I love you as I did him
But He convinced me you were better off that way.....
Tears.....Sadness....I destroyed
The only part of me that brought me joy.
In a tight warm corner
Your fate I did decide,
In a tight warm corner.....Lay my drowning child.
And with that it was all over
Saw a part of me I never wish to see again,
In a tight cold corner
I cried...no longer combined.
In a tight cold corner,
You....all of me died........

That's not bad - you have a good idea behind it, you try to look at it
in a unique way - an thats the beginning of real talent.
Nice job,
