High Schooler's Ballad

Contributed by b_rand on Wednesday, 2nd February 2005 @ 02:21:11 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

i'm not interested in any angry mother's opinions on this

what the f--k do i do ev-er-yday
i drink berrrrrs, liquors, throw my life away
but thats the way things roll in clark, new jerSAY
wit lots of drunks, hottest sluts, guess i cant complain
and when the time comes, i do sober up for school
bring a vodka bottle into class to keep my cool
suck it down, clown around, and just break the rules
the teachers feared me, pretended that i had em fooled
see i was clearly, never meant to pass at all
they looked up my intelligence and built a wall
at the exact place they were positive i'd fall
so i was stupefied when U. Lehigh gave me the call
and i got into the exact place i wanted to go
so i laughed at my past and said "you as-hole,
you were nervous and were worthless but now you know
that school wasnt school, it was just a f--kin' joke"
so let's poke some fun at the real nerds who tried
the ones who gave it their all, got deferred and cried
wasted a good portion of life storin words inside
while i partied and drank, takin girls for rides

Very interesting poem. Kind funny too. Who would take offence to this.
