Good

Topic: dedicatedpoems

A sharp intake of breath,
bringing me back to reality,
back from my dreams and thoughts.
'Help her,'
my mind urges,
the breath was mine.
She lay there,
dying,
and I could only sit.
'You must help her!'
But there's nothing I can do,
she is too far gone,
I can only watch and wait.
'Come back!'
The sweet angel fades,
a flurry of snow white feathers.
'No!'
She has gone,
her only mark,
the good she has always done.

tears were brought to my eyes by this one, i know how it is to just have to watch something terrible happen, and feel so useless, I'm sorry about your mom, if it makes you feel better, im sure she's in a better place, you'll c her again someday, just live your life happy because every breath you take is one closer to seeing her

I can feel your pain in this poem, I also know what your going through, my mom passed away a year ago and to me it seems like yesterday. I also miss her more and more everyday. We were very close. To your friends you give a smile, knowing that deep inside your heart is breaking. I have that feeling. I wil keep you in my prayers, take care.

You've expressed your feelings simply, and very beautifully.
A touching, meaningful write.

This is an absolutely beautiful write. I loved the bits of dialouge in it. It made it all the more real. This is a very powerful and moving poem you have written. Excellent work.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dearly loved.
