The Last Beat

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

My left hand is holding happiness while inside me lies emptiness. Contemplating one of the greatest sins for reasons unknown to most. Its shiny and sharp but most would agree the action is dull. What does it matter, do they even understand? When all is lost and your left just being lonely and worthless, whats the point? A life filled with lies and loss is not a game worth playing.

Grazing the tool against my skin. Smiles appear on the face but the inside is frowning. It hurts so bad to live but this feels so good so why stop? The flow of the red river brings relief. The warmth on legs and arms takes away the cold in life.

Ill i wanted was someone to talk to. Someone who would listen and actually understand. I guess i wasnt even worth that. goodbye cruel world, i will always..........................

i'll be here to listen & to understand.... ... .. ... i know how u feel, and i am not trying to state any worth.... or even to but in... i feel the same way as u wrote... words are expressions to write... your feelings', and remember one thing to make u think a slightly different, if u don't matter to them, then they shouldn't matter to you, in this life, all we have is ourselve, and no one else, i am a little different i am very caring, but i will still tell you to not care about someone else more than yourself, u come first in your life..... and then when u sky high into a greater life, you can look down on the people who hurt u before and turn your back on them when they need u, or u could help them, whatever u do it is your free choice... but this time u will be right on top.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
