Sometimes...

Contributed by pixie on Tuesday, 1st February 2005 @ 12:42:17 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Sometimes I wish that I was dead,
That you found me cold in our bed,
Never again to let out a breath,
I wonder if you would seek solace in my death?

Sometimes I want to disappear,
Make the act of suicide my lifetime career,
Free you my love once & for all,
Maybe one day I’ll answer death’s call.

Sometimes I want to end my life,
Pull the guns trigger or plunge in the knife,
Set you sailing away on life’s boat,
Send your soul drifting away on a float.

Sometimes I’d like to set you free,
Get you away from this horrible me,
Gently push you in true loves direction,
To offer you much more than my tainted affection.

Sometimes I pray for my life to end,
Stop your life from taking another harsh bend,
Let you live your life & seek love,
Letting you escape depressions hard shove.

Sometimes I want my light to go out,
When I can’t shake off the deep rooted doubt,
When hurt & pain gets such an iron grip,
That’s when I want death to let rip.

I hold no stock in suicide, it's so damned hard to change your mind afterward.

I do , however, know the feeling that if I were to drop dead I dont think I'd care much.
well said
A very emotional write my friend

A very heavy hearted poem,
step out of the darkness, behind those dark
clouds the sun shines for you, wrap yourself in love, and true love, shall surely find you.
sojourner,
