I have marveled at your circuitry
The green table that serves as support
For all the shiny bricks and wires
I've seen you eat memories upon it
Growing wiser yet losing some of your freshness
And liveliness that the wisdom has replaced
Electricity still dances in your veins
Just as shockingly blue as the day you were born
But it doesn't move as fast as it used to
Time is bringing rust to the body
Dust is beginning to collect on its new home
And your old home is suffering because of it
You've said: "Hello birth; nice to meet you mid-life crisis."
But you have yet to meet your final friend.
You will meet them on your most-expectant day of living in a box
