Despite the years,
We've been apart.
I've kept your love,
In my heart.
And now we are,
Together again.
But yet our love,
Isn't the same.
I want to find it,
Please let me try.
If we don't make it,
I'll honestly cry.
I miss the days,
That we could talk.
And laugh and cry,
Or go for a walk.
Please don't hurt me,
Please let me in.
You don't understand,
The pain within.
Despite the times,
We've had together.
I now know love,
Doesn't last forever
