I’m burning in the fire
And you’ll never hear my screams
Flames, entrancing, dire
Are burning my soul, it seems
Lying in the cool, dark mud
Crying all alone
Bleeding hot, poisonous blood
Upon a sacred stone
Moonlight falls upon my form
Singing a mournful tune
Praying that I may be reborn
Under a mysterious moon
Sinking in a freezing stream
Filling my lungs with despair
Sparkling, innocent in moonbeams
As my body floats to your lair
Burning, dying, crying, sinking
Upon cold mossy stone
The look in your eyes, I know what your thinking
As you beat me, defenseless, alone
Crawling over cold, wet grass
Trying to run again
Fighting demons from my past
But I’ll never let you win
So in that freezing stream of fear
Under a pale full moon of sin
Is where he finds me, daddy dear
To bring me home again.
