Blind To Your Eyes

Contributed by HiDdEnTEARS on Monday, 31st January 2005 @ 07:17:43 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

My friend you have a problem,
and there’s nothing I can do.
You are loved by o so many,
but why can’t you love you?

Your nights are filled with tears,
your days with postiche smiles,
pretending everything’s alright,
the whole entire while.

Few are known to your insides,
you have let me in.
And I am trying my hardest,
by just being a good friend.

But in this day and time,
my friendships not enough.
Through all your miseries,
the times have got too tough.

Now you may be blind to it,
but needing help, you do.
Don’t take your life away from me,
don’t take it right from you.

One thousand people love you,
one million people care,
the whole world wants to help you,
and for you they want to be there.

So through your eyes you may not see,
but life isn’t that bad.
Don’t throw away your future,
or everything you’ve had.

My friend you have a problem,
and now its up to you.
I want to see you glad again,
what is there I can do?

This truly is heartfelt. I can feel this one all the way down to my bones. This sounds a bit like something a friend of mine would say to me... Who am I kidding? Its probably exactly what she'd say. This is really awesome and shows a true friend's concern. Thank You for sharing!
