Honored by her peers
Quietly she takes center stage
Frightened excitement fills her eyes
Offsetting her caramel complexion
Glistening the rose of her cheeks
So much has happened in the years past
A life time of memories swirl through the air
Frosting everyone’s mind as stories are told
Smiling intensely
She awkwardly thanks those who have helped her
Imprints flash through her mind
Displaying the stepping stones of experience that got her here
Some familiar faces are missing
Saddened she prints up their pictures within her heart
Colorfully drawing their faces with her liquid voice
Others there, follow her visions
Looking back at what they have seen
Feeling each fluid emotion
Bleeding into their souls through her lyrical paintings
Laughing quietly she sits
Applause, erupt a violent hum throughout the room
Instantly she knows her time was not wasted
With a slightly upward cornered mouth
A whispered thanks sweeps out

Sounds like a fairy tale coming true. it's sotta like Cindarela.
Still it grabs u and lifts ya up and says it was worth all the leasons, pain, agony each sleepless night, falling, getting back up but jus knowing life-n-it's ups, downs, tradjugy 'cause some one cared enough to have faith in her even tho she was a very hard nut to crack.
A masterpeice in it's own right. Very powerfull.
huggs,
