It was as beautiful
As a shooting star
When it first began,
It shined with hope
Across my sky
And gave new life to my plan,
It brightened every
Dark filled space
That hid within my mind,
But by doing this
I became naïve
And effectively became blind,
Not conscious of other going’s on
Or indeed
The clues I was handed,
I turned my back chose to ignore
And now my life
Has been left stranded

Isn't it like that? Most things that seem too good to be true usually are. Nice write.

Beautiful thoughts. I'm always trying to fight the same thing. Well expressed. Blessings. |
