As I lay my head down, I dream
It's filled with sorrow and clarity
With my greatest fear and charist memories
I dream of a time of my greatest happiness
Of a time of my most fearful moment
I get lost in your dream of emotions
In the reality of man I am sweating
My body is shaking and fidgeting
I yell out like I'm scared
I yell out like I'm happy
In my awakening from my experience
You are there by my side to comfort
You have been there since my eyes closed
You have watched as I sleep in comfort and angious
I look at you in disbelief and surprise
I ask you why you're here by my side
You tell me, I'm sorry my love I'm not
I give you that look of disbelief
So you tell me, my love awake this is but merely a dream
I awake with a jolt not knowing if real or not
I pinch myself to prove all in real
I look beside me where you once dreamed, too
