Swirling lights and blurred images of you
Candle light, and flowers of silk in the crystal vase
I am trying to imagine sitting next to me someone I knew
Oh so long ago, I can't remember her face
I swore to her on that ever so long ago day
That I would never let go of her hand
And here I am, in my hand yours does lay
And here your memories are filtering like sand
The dishes clink as good cheer is spread
You smile and call me in your buoyant call
But guilt in heavy on my head
I can't stop thinking of the girl that fall
But now the music carries me away in to now
And reality dulls the pain
And I must forget you somehow.

Thats a famelier feel for me my friend. There needs a lil touch up on the "fall" rhyme, but other than that it was good, I was really able to put my self there. |
