who will miss me?

I've fallen...
Like elms to golden dust of autumn wind
Gentle, light
I fade
Now the reds, golds and violets
Of sun and sea be,
I wither....
Who will miss me?
The flush of rose gone
A sappling always I,
Tolling faint among the echoes,
Needing more dew, more sunlight
To grow to beauty
Hungering for beauty.
Now I return to sprinkled ash.
I lay barefoot before sunset,
Cozy darkness dims my sight
I long to taste my mothers breast...
Who will tell my frozen words?
Who will miss me?
