LIES
BY: Kris Harrison
WHEN YOU SAID YOU WOULD BE THERE FOR ME
I BELIEVED YOU
WHEN YOU TOLD ME TO TRUST YOU
I DID
WHEN YOU TOLD ME EVERYTHING WOULD BE ALRIGHT
I BELIEVED YOU
BUT.... YOU WERE WRONG
YOU SAID YOU WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME
BUT YOU WERENT
YOU TOLD ME TO TRUST YOU
AND YOU LIED TO ME
YOU TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE ALRIGHT
AND IT ISNT
BUT... YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT ONE THING AND THAT WAS WHEN YOU ACCEPTED ME AS YOUR FRIEND
I TOLD YOU THAT I WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU
AND I WAS
I TOLD YOU TO TRUST ME
AND I WAS TRUTHFUL
I TOLD YOU I COULD MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER
AND I DID
BUT HOW CAN WE BE FRIENDS WHEN YOUR PART OF THIS RELATIONSHIP IS FULL OF LIES

Very sad but written with the perfection of a master poet.
I've been guilty of a few lies in my lifetime and i'm truly sorry but no one can change the past.
huggs,
