Blood of an Artist
Use your well of blood
And your quill of thought
To create a work of art
Use your ink blotted parchment
And your waxing candle
To create new life
Use your blood to stain
Your thoughts to feign
A work of art with no name
Use your parchment to burn
Your thoughts to discern
The new life born unlearned
But do not recreate yourself
Or what you've felt
As the candle melts
Because the work of art
Is still uncreated
It's still mistaken
