Christmas is celebrated differently here
With seafood or turkey and a nice cold beer
Or basking under the Australian sun
we throw a prawn on the barbie
and toss a salad for fun
No eggnogs, fires or snow here
We celebrate the day with our own brand of cheer
Avagoodone all of you out there in poetry land
;-)

Cool poem Eileen! That's just what it's like! We usually have prawns, salads, beer and wine - and everyone ends up in the pool it's so hot!
Merry Christmas. |

I like to eat shrimp and steak instead of just turkey, along with a wine cooler or a beer too. it all sounds good. thank you for sharing this, you have a Merry Christmas too.
