Henry Has Yet To Be Seen.

So maybe it is not the best idea to sit in worry,
And its not good to be alone.
But Henry cant seem to cover himself from the cold.
He knows that life could be better,
But Henry just cant seem to find himself
And pull things together.
He smiles on the outside but he's dying...
Dying deep down
Seeing himself on a narrow road,
And has often been told;
Theres' no turning around.
He is forced to change his imperfections-
To please evryone else.
However, Henry's hand cannot yet reach that top shelf.
He had left some of his problems behind,
And this just proves to show that has'nt stop trying,
To Blossom, Emerge and Grow.
But so much happiness he has missed,
Remembering all the things on this above list.
And yet Henry knows...
He should'nt have to subject himself to this.

| A nice effort at describing attitude toward life. My experience of "pulling oneself together" is that it doesn't just happen all at once - it's a little here and a little there. Keep writing! Cheers! |

Absolutely beautiful. This is definetly one of my favorites and I can really relate to it. They are the words I feel, but I can't find them myself. Thanks, and great work.

| A very good poem that I think we can all relate to in some way. We are all Henry and we suffer these pains in our own ways. So much life and time is wasted in the pleasing of others that we often neglect ourselves. This is even more painful when it's forced upon us. Again good stuff, definite food for thought. |
