Daddy Shouted At Me

Contributed by pixie on Sunday, 30th January 2005 @ 11:43:09 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Daddy shouted at me last night,
After me & my step mother had a fight,
He always takes her side it’s just not fair,
Since she’s been around about me he doesn’t care.

I have been pushed into the background,
She cackled & told me they don’t want me around,
I can’t talk to me Daddy anymore,
As hanging round his neck is his new whore.

She told me Daddy doesn’t love me anyway,
& that by his side & in his bed she’ll forever stay,
I knew that I had to get my sweet revenge,
That my pain I just had to avenge.

So one night an evil plan I began to hatch,
I found some lighter fuel & a match,
I thought I would show that evil, nasty *****,
I would play the part of Dorothy & kill the wicked witch.

One night while she was sleeping next to my Dad,
I had to take it, it was the only chance I had,
I poured the lighter fuel onto their bed,
Not one of them knowing they’d soon be dead.

My Daddy held her high over me,
I was his little girl & could not let that be,
Tears fell down my cheek as I bid my Daddy goodbye,
But only for the death of my Dad would I cry.

First off much welcome back..I really loved this piece here..Your dark poems are alwasy so great to read.
My Daddy held her high over me,
I was his little girl & could not let that be,
Tears fell down my cheek as I bid my Daddy goodbye,
But only for the death of my Dad would I cry.

That stanza was perfect..This whole piece screamed out to me.

Provocative write expressing anger, but more even, hurt and pain. A nice thing about fantasy, you can kill and get away with it.

May the adult woman in you prevail
Powerful write

Scary but nicely done. I've seen others go through those feelings. It's a good scenario for "writing it out," so keep it up! Blessings, Pixie!

Your father didnt chose her over you. He sided with what he felt was right for both. When you are grown older you will look back and you will back up your partner in life as your father has commited too.
Its only a opinion I hope it resolves itself soon and all can move on. Its no fun to sweat the small things.
