Verse 1: I'm sure you've heard these words before
But I wanna tell you again
Words will linger as loud as rain pours
Especially the words some of us consider sin
You may say it just by chance
But it remains imprinted on a heart
And they'll remember at every glance
Feelings for you will turn dark
So watch what you say, I ask of you today... because

Bridge: Your words are with me as I speak
I can't let go, as hard as I try
They scarred and bruised and just won't seem to die...

Chorus: I'm crying but I don't feel anything
Besides the tears running down my face
I tell myself it'll all get better
As I go, further in the race
But I just can't get the picture of your face
Out of my head, outta this place,
So do me a favor, give me my space

Verse 2: I look out my window as the rain pours down
Loudly, steadily it hits the ground
Slowly taking over all around
Your words did the same to my mind
Lingered, spread, I thought about them all the time
They're with me forever, I try to let go, But I know I wll never

That's it, I know it would be better if you knew the tune but that would be a little hard to do:) tell me what you think please!
