Winter Nights in the Fall

Contributed by raven on Saturday, 29th January 2005 @ 11:53:11 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I never meant to hurt you. Cant you just see what this world has done to me? The wrapping paper is the brightest of bright but inside the box lies coal. Do you know what its like to have your spirit crushed and your soul jumped on? When you worked so hard to build your feelings so high, do you know what its like to have your heart burnt to the ground? Of course you dont and this sap will stick forever.

All this sap comes from the mightiest tree. Go ahead, try to chop it down. Try to burn it. Try to kill it. What i have now you cant kill. Happiness has resumed but you will always think of me. So when your wings are clipped dont ask me to fly you anywhere.

Now do you see how i think. When nothing but death stands in your way you begin to realize. I dont need you, there is something out there so much better for me. You wont weigh me down anymore. Consider yourself as my anchor finally left in the ocean to drown.

I like the form you used a lot(i use it^_^)
I just don't like the having to hit enter all the time.....just let it all bubble out.
The idea itself is great (death is our realization)....'cept as far as i know, we weigh our own selves down.
Anyway, if i didn't like it i wouldn't be writing this....continue always.

always, abraham
