This place in my heart,
a corner, the pages
reserved just for her.
I always stand transparent,
see the little girl inside.
The stronger side we believe in,
grows tired in the shine of day,
the weaker moments are in us,
clouds but a breath away.
Dare I speak of a slender shadow,
a heart bare and clean,
might I tell you of torn and mended,
in search, will remain with me.
Smile from a distance,
know you can`t see me,
right before your eyes.
I`ve seen that little girl wanting
dreams that drift through her mind,
I`ve stood at the edge of empty,
thrilled to hold her hands"...Lane
