The King?

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Saturday, 29th January 2005 @ 10:29:52 PM in AEST
Topic: sarcasticpoetry

The king you say you are, how noble!
Sitting high upon your throne.
Enjoying judging others words
because of things you don't condone.
Is it you who passes out the ones?

Before you go and slam me down,
hear me out a bit.
I too will admit and take blame,
we can all be hypocrites.

But what makes you so special brother?
Such an expert on things.
What hurt you in the light my friend?
That sent you to the dark to sing.

I've viewed your pictures,
but I don't understand.
Why so many photos of yourself?
You seem an ordinary man.

Maybe you dream to be discovered.
Become a male supermodel some day!
It doesn't take brains to sell yourself.
Whatever your into brother, that's okay.

Ya see I tend to think too damn much.
Try to figure folks out.
Tend to get a lot of vibes, one might say.
Comtemplating heavily why folks tick a certain way.

Some would say none of your business.
Some might want to talk and share.
Others simply don't give a damn.
DO YOU DARE?

I find it very sad that you even wrote this..Out of over a thousand members here you worry about one person..Why does it matter to you? Seems very wasted that you would bother placing a dare over what a person's pictures..Poem's,Comments..Trust me sweetheart, most poem's here are not good..And if ppl cannot take negative comments then they need not apply..Good to see your one of the people who lives for other ppl..

It's funny cause most know who you speak of..Your upset cause of his pictures..Wtf..His poems..Why? Do you have this much insecurity?
You think he needs attention.Do you have a clue how well off he is here in Georgia..So before you post about someone else and feel it funny, insecurity, jealous,Never knock someone I am this close to in my life..

heh, I find him to be a very nice person and I don't think he ever referred to himself as a king. Like poorgirl said, there are alot of bad writers here and I feel they deserve the feedback they get from him. If they aren't strong enough to take it, why post? stop living for others and hone your OWN talent, then maybe what you'll get from him will be positive since you seem to care so much about what one person thinks. This won't tick him off, he'll laugh at you.

Several of you folks ask me why I care. Because I am human. Constructive criticism is okay, meanness is not necessary. And if its ok for some to put down writes about other folks, then why are you hasseling me. And no this person never called himself a king, that's called wordplay. One of his not so nice comments he told someone he would step down off his throne. By the way he's never given me a negative comment. And you mean people the damn dare is DO YOU DARE to give a damn what other people think. Wow I love this, I knew this would get some sparks, never imagine you folks would get so hot. It's just words right, thoughts, expressions. I'm laughing too. Seems the dark folks do have some feelings. Peace to you all. Laura

I made the mistake of telling him he was handsome..now why did I do that? I'm insecure myself and try to give others a boost when I can..women as well as men. I've taken hits from him on my poetry and they are unkind ..he makes mistakes also..and no one ever tells him.. his looks will fade one day.. he treats young people too harshly and women flock to him because of his looks..not his writing ability..I don't blame you for being angry.. he's still young and thinks he can write.. LOL.. wait until a really good editor gets ahold of his work.. his ego will deflate along with..well. rotflmao..

Well, it's said that the object of poetry is to move the readers....

seems to me you've moved quite a few. lol

A great venting my friend
I don't know who you're addressing this too,
but a great venting none the less.
