Their own private hells
Have assured their fall
Their angry yells
Are bouncing off the walls
Every word’s a pin
Very thin and sharp
Piercing through the skin
And aiming for the heart
They can’t escape
From this trap they’ve made
What once was love,
Has regressed to hate
Their bodies tremble
And shake with rage
This anger’s a temple
A freedom cage
These people scream
Just let it out
The bad feelings teem
By the sound of a shout
They can’t escape
From this trap they’ve made
This is the end
The unchangeable fate
The lips are pursed
And the teeth are clenched
Streaming words of curse
Their effect is etched
Inside the brain
The veins are showing
As is the pain
Bad vibes are flowing
They can’t escape
From this trap they’ve made
This completely pointless
Irrational state
