The sky is full of flight.
And though I may not find you here,
Or even tonight.
One day, you and I
We shall collide.
With the wind beneath our wings,
And as that wind howls and sings,
You and I shall cross paths,
And continue to fly.
And then we shall collide,
And we shall both fall…
Fast, from the sky.
And we’ll both land,
With a harsh crash.
Breaking our wings,
Into pieces and halves.
And we shall lay there,
In pieces and bones.
Crawling in the dark,
To find each other,
And no longer be alone.

Lovely poem :) I would love to know who it is about.... but maybe it isn't anything specific, or personal. |
