Third Journalist Was Paid to Promote Bush Policies
The New York Times - January 29, 2005
WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 - The Bush administration acknowledged on Friday that it had paid a third conservative commentator, and at least two departments said they were conducting internal inquiries to see if other journalists were under government contract. The investigative arm of Congress also formally began an inquiry of its own.

--O//--
This corruption called Bush
Do you get it yet? Do you give a damn?
Amongst all the “patriotic” blather
He’s promoting a scam
You REALLY think he’s good?
Such a great hero?
Oh man take the blinkers off
He is such a zero
No, it’s much worse than that
The man’s a liability
With no scruples at all
For illegality
The corruption called Bush
You saw him right at first
As he went on vacation
As his popularity bust
The man is a cow
And fear is the milk
That’s all you’ll get
From his and his ilk
Fear and Lies
Lies and Fear
That’s all you’ll get
That’s all you’ll hear
Oh there’ll be words said
Like “Democracy” and “Freedom”
But that’s more of his lies
To extend his fiefdom
Into your heads
Where the brainwashing is done
As he leads you to slaughter
And hands YOU the gun
--O//--
This Eternal Fear
It begins with misinformation
The decision had been made
Now they needed justification
Any lies would do, any plausible creation
Any convenient anecdote
Some lies to fool a nation
All this led to extermination
To 100,000 innocent deaths
And so much destruction
And the answer was:
More lies, more fabrication
In the White House sits an arrogant fool
A dupe at times - at others cruel
A man with a only a bone for a brain
Uninterested in facts
No wit to explain
This was about gut instinct
No rules were followed here
Cheney and the other ranting fools
Played their part in the fear
To simply disregard sense and law
So arrogant it’s clear
They ignored wise counsel
And rammed on ahead
This mess could have been avoided
And so many would not be dead
It started with misinformation
Lie upon lie upon lie
And led to extermination
100,000 innocents who died
It caused so much destruction
The already miserable cried
Now begins endless confrontation
That will cause hardest heart to sigh
Yes it started with misinformation
They fooled you all don’t you see?
There WAS no consensus for action
No debate open and free
No consultation with wise counsel
Only the few with gut instinct
Decided for you and me
It started with misinformation
So dishonest and so sly
They overturned our safeguards
To justify their lie
Now we see the tortured result
And we will for year on year
Through arrogance they brought us
To this eternal fear
