Aesthetic society
I spent so many years
trying to com to par
Your standards are so high
one can't help but fall
Since when do looks
outweigh personality
and how you dress
become a measure of your worth
Because of you
somewhere out there
a girl kneels
doubled over the toilet
purged of her self confidence
and yet another starves
to fit into your false reality
When will we again see
the beauty within
and remember that
we're each a marvel
Don't label us society
based on physical features
but on our merits and character
For who of you
are fit to judge the perfect
when we live in an imperfect world

For good or for bad looks do and always will out weigh any type of personality..In my world it would be ten times that.. |
