Since the day you left
I've felt so alone
My heart wanders aimlessly, searching
It knows no solace in my chest
but longs to be ever closer to you
Like a vagrant
you deny it the comfort of your love
and turn it out to the cold streets
of dejection
Shall it find no shelter
from the poison arrows of rage
that you, oh skillful archer
wield so wrongfully against me?
You have turned me into a pauper
forever begging to be loved
I fear my heart shall ever wander
after you
