befuddled time

Contributed by neglected1 on Saturday, 29th January 2005 @ 02:36:12 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I’ve been here before
And I ought to have a little more
If there’s any person at home
At your place, dearest one
Why don’t you invite me in?

Throw some time through a prayer
What I am to you
Is not real
What I am to you
I do not need, no

Wasted on you time in and out
Blow me a wind
A wind filled with no misgiving
All the leaves
Are claiming to be dead

Blown to pieces
A leaf I hold from you
Reason, naught, befuddled
Your already gone
My hand is stationed on the door

last touch I have near you
running out of lights
no more favors
reason which is nil
your stupidity left you with, nobody

I think you have touched on a good thought. why do we waste our time and energy on unfulfilled dreams. it is like sour grapes. we could wait, but what if it isn't all we had hoped for? or what if we disappoint them?
