A Long Talk With Myself*

Contributed by Glo on Saturday, 29th January 2005 @ 12:39:33 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I had a talk with myself today.
Going over my life...
What should go and what should stay?
No one else was there,
It was just me, myself and I.
While in the midst of conversation...
I began to cry.

I cried for all the years,
I 've missed My First Love.
Hoping that he's alright as I...
Stare at the stars above.
Questions like... will we ever...
Meet up again somewhere?
Is he really happy or like me,
Many times...having feelings of despair.

Life has a way of playing...
Not so nice tricks on you.
Wishing with all my heart that...
I could make both our dreams come true.
Though it's been many years,
That we've spoken at any length...
How about a rondevous this weekend?
Call me, let me know what you think.
My phone number is still the same...
Just like my love for you,
It will never ever change.
To you My Love running like the wind,
Into your arms I'd stay...
Wishing we could be together,
Forever and always.

To begin to make up for all the lost years,
We'll love each other tenderly...
Kissing away one anothers tears.
I've dreamed of this meeting for so long.
Don't worry about anything going wrong.
I sang my other half this song...
I'm going away for the weekend,
To do some Soul searching..
Telling a lie is one thing that I hate,
But I was going in search of You...
My First Love and Forever Soul Mate!

That's all I said to him.
And out the door I went,
When things aren't right at home...
Putting all my energy at the same time,
Knowing that it's all in vain.
Especially when I'm on...
The recieving end of pain.
My First Love, he feels the same.
Though it's only for a weekend,
There's so much we have to do.
May take longer than a weekend...
Maybe a month or two.
Don't know what the future holds,
This I know for sure
You'll always be My First Love...
#01... now and forever more.

True Love spans the test of time!
