The tips of fingers, points of light, pulsing, tracing lines upon skin
Seven candles burn in the silence of night
Angular shapes formed from shades
Of darkness
Arching down and curving about
The moment
Gasped and expelled, tumbling, tossed
To and fro
Pink lips, touched
Seven candle burn showing two shaded shapes, receding
Days, consumed by moments lost
Ghosts staggering across a field of vision
Dancing, horrid mimicry decrying the iniquities of their own illusion
Consumed upon consuming, torrents of derision
Stopped
Moments pass, untouched
A forest sways in the quiet breath of consciousness
Life, happening, happens
Stuttering glimpses wink in and out, faster and faster
Until they are pouring forth in a continuum of coherency
A great crescendo happening without end
Sublime moments, punctuations to a glorious universe
All coalescing and falling to entropy only to reform
Wildly and with beautiful meaning
A field of vision becomes
A grassy hill with the stars pouring forth from the sky becomes
A single walk in a series of walks down a wonderfully average path becomes
Every moment in the a day of a life

I love a poem that defines its own rhythm. I don't think there's a lot of understanding/appreciation of such these days.
Reminds me of how nice it is to be in love, or in the act of..great expression. I wouldn't change a thing. |
