Island of Hope in a Sea of Darkness

If only one day i could hold you again my life would rest complete. I would have the soundest sleep never again to weep. Still reach for your hand but the touch is cold. The thought engulfs my mind that we are through. It will never continue and if you offered the bet again i would have to fold...
You used to lead me everywhere. I guess i only got lost in the allusion to your heart. Like walking through the desert but instead of water i needed the truth.
