Lost in my soul
I wish to seek the good in my heart of was stolen
And thinking of the dreams and hopes of which I mourn
For I am persecuted everyday to be saved from being stoned
And that Is why I look to the sky
For I look to the sky because it gives me faith
I look to the sky because it gives me hope.
I look to sky because it gives me joy
I look to the sky because it makes me think of peace
And I look to the sky because it makes me think of home
And I look to the sky because I am that angel who will someday fly
The tears of angels don’t ever turn to stone
But they turn into power and strength for those who stand alone
Damaged by the scares of war and the hells of life
They shed the blood of every man’s life
Because they know that life is fate and fate is life
They think about where is God as they lay every night
And this my friends is why I look to the sky
Because the sky is that image so high above
That gives even the smallest of people something to reach for.
For I know I am that angel who some day will fly
So I look up to the heavens and kiss the sky.
