I lift my soul up to the sky
On the twilight of this great night
As I watch the birds as they take flight
On this warm dramatic night
When my spirit on new life.
On this beautiful night
I look upon the sky clustered with stars
Of galaxies so far away yet so close to us
Its no wonder why we dream at night
And no wonder why the spirit strives at night
As they visit these worlds when we lay at night.
No demons of which for us to fight this night
And no dogging in the ground with that old knife
For on a night like this is when the spirit truly takes life
And shines with Gods great light
On this most beautiful night.
