Putting these words into images for you to understand
Is not the easiest for me, speaking and expressing,,,its at hand
Will the words falter, will they not slip past my lips
Or will they spill forth and flow across and into your thoughts

In terms of knowing,,how or for what reason.. it just did...
My feelings i thought i sheltered well and kept close ,,,,hid..
Its like all i have i wish to give....all that i am, for you to own
Maybe its a foolish thought i somtimes think,,but no,,it has only grown

Ill hold tight to the thought of the what may,,,could happen
Ill hold close , you,,,,your heart if only you can fathom...
Caring ,,,,,,possibly loving,, someone like me....maybe just maybe,,
Perhaps playing close to the fire,,,just to tempt the flames...

excellent write. i can relate.

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
