The forest the wilderness the unspoiled land, All made for the enjoyment of man. Come walk at night down a well worn path, Come feel the lands wrath. Feel the fog see the shadows move, See the branches intertwine and wove. Feel the dampness on the earth as you walk, Shhhh, Listen to the sounds don't talk. Listen to the whispers listen to the wind, Try to hear the sounds, Again. The sounds are soft and they are sad, As you walk through the forest the unspoiled land.

Ah yes Pennsylvania. Quite beautiful. My husband is from Pa. We are out there fairly often to see family. We spent 3 weeks around the holidays. I wrote a poem also inspired by Pa called Icicles. You might want to check it out. Lovely write by the way. Much peace. |
