Damn

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Damn! You're my best friend
If I had a friend that was a girl it would've been U
Damn! I wanted a MAN but I could've waited till it was Due
In the meantime between time my mind might get right
Damn! Touching and feeling late a night...leads to
Me and U becoming more than friends
Damn! A serious relationship will begin and we'll never be same again
Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn!
Why couldn't we just keep it simple with no complications?
Why didn't we remain the ones who helped the other relations?
Most of all, why couldn't I just wait and be patient?
Damn! I miss my friend and I do love you as my MAN
I Loved You More As MY BEST FRIEND

Yes, I see what you mean by a similar theme, but with a different twist. Interestingly though, we were best friends before and after we started a relationship: then you can have both. But you're right, sometimes you feel you loose something.

Really good write, glad you let me know about it
Willofree
