The knowing smile,
the touch of your skin,
I smile at the way
your eyes welcome sin.
Wisdom, touch, wonder lust.
A beauty unseen outshines the sun,
the mind can fly where no men run.
Eyes of darkness
open each night
to watch my loneliness,
study my plight.
Planets, moon, soft stardust.
A prize so distant can’t be won.
A love affair better never begun.
A heart ensnared,
trapped by a vow.
Too late for love
to save me now.
Prison, stone, iron bar rust.
I wish I’d known you were the one,
but some mistakes can’t be undone

ooOOoo! I really liked your rhyme pattern! (a/b/a/b/c/d/d) I found it quite interresting...and it worked really well with your poem. The flow of the poem was great and I found it to be a real pleasure to read!
I also liked the story...You definately had a way with words!!

Beautiful masterpiece here.....i love the lines you wrote....I smile at the way your eyes welcome sin.....that's breathtaking....you've created a beautiful piece here..and it's so true some mistakes can't be undone....thanks for sharing this one i enjoyed it tremendously...
