Decide

Topic: SongLyrics

Thinking upon your post, you realize
That you live to see your own demise
But, then you must decide
Who will live and who will die?
But can you watch death with your own two eyes?
I believe you cannot see what’s truthful and what lies

Nothing will save the life that was passed by
Life is just lie?
With a sigh
You move on

Eternity was supposed to last forever
But with the way you pulled that lever
Life has changed for the worse
Now you’re left in your own personal hearse

Last to know
First to go
Living life was never this hard
Writing these rhymes on a card
Living life on a shard
How could it be any worse?

Never having a care in the world I fled
Now it seems like life’s left me for dead
Now it all seems to float away
I would give anything, just for one more day

Thinking upon your post, you realize
That you live to see your own demise
But, then you must decide
Who will live and who will die?
But can you watch death with your own two eyes?
I believe you cannot see what’s truthful and what lies

I don't know why you've had no comments to this point. Not sure if you meant to go from second person to first person though. But it's interesting, especially the chorus. Cheers!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
