Journey to insanity

Coming round the corner I see a dark haze, A thing so clear to me that I fall into a daze. Slowly as I rub my eyes and turn to look once more, It is gone without the use of a single door. Yet a presence still remains with me just beyond my reach, Sucking out my inner strength like a blood thirsty leech. Mentioning its presence to those who pretends to care, Makes them think of me to be even more out there. Gradually it builds visiting me many times again, I fear that it will soon bring upon me my end. One day, or was it a night? I do not know, Some men took me away in a jacket the color of freshly fallen snow. Now I sit in my corner rocking back and forth, My mind constantly racing, west to east, south to north. Im safe for now I know, in my padded den, Until of course it comes, to haunt me once again.
