Lost love

Topic: LostLove

Hello,
Hello, anyone there
Okay I am alone
If the person who I love
Gets this poem
I am thinking about dieing

You really helped me
Get my life back
After losing my best friend
All hopes were gone

I was sitting on bed
With the barrel of gun,
In my mouth
Wanting to end the pain
That I was going through

I tried it once
The gun did not work
I tried again
And again,
The gun did not work
So I tried a third time
And again,
The gun did not work

Was this a sign?
Or was it faith?
Or could it have been,
My best friend stopping me

I am still not sure
What it was
But all I know
Is that I am glad I failed

For if I have succeeded
I would not have meet you
That week before
We started dating

I really thought,
About doing it again
But something in side
Told me not too!
I am still not sure
To this day what it was
But I am glad
It made me stop

Then I finally
Saw the light
It was coming from you
I figured I better take a chance
And so I did

And you said yes
And I started to cry
Because I thought I found you
November 19th
Is forever implanted
In my head

It is on that day
We made it official
That you were my girl-friend

And on that day
I took you out
For our first,
And many more to come

I picked you up at five p.m.
With three yellow red tip roses
That you said were you’re favorite
I took you to margaritas
Were you enjoyed?
The chicken fajita salad
And a non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri

After that I took you
To the movies
Flagship cinema
Were we saw the Grudge
Then I got you home,
By eleven thirty-five

We both said that we enjoyed
Each others company
I still did not kiss you
Even though I wanted to
I waited until
Our third date
Which was Sunday the twenty-first?
Remember that day
I walked you to your house

And just before you went in
I asked if I could kiss you
And you said yes

All these things
That I have mentioned today
Are things,
Those men,
Don’t even remember

But for those who remember
Are those who are in love!

And know it’s over
Why I am still not sure
But all I know
Is that
The time I spent with you
Was the best time of my life!

I just hope,
That one day,
You can save me again
And we could be,
In love again

What can I say?
You are my shooting star.
