Birth
Give me your tiny hand
We feel the warmth of being
Ageless beyond stars
Becoming
We are here to be
Not to have too much you see
Not to build a prison
Loving
Give me your sweet love
I will give you all of mine
What more can we need?
Dying
Time is friend and foe
A friend who lets you forget
Though forgets not you
Death
Now I kiss your eyes
As you sleep for one last time
I will love, always

Magic. Love the haikus and the idea of stringing them together with the common thread of life. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing! |
