Tortured Thoughts of Languished Bliss
With hate you consummate.
This pain's turned my heart to stone.
I am cursed with the Devil's Mark
You gave me while we were alone.
This mask of rage covers your hollow heart
To keep me from seeing it fall apart.
You beg of me for mercy but gain not a glance.
You gain the same emptiness you gave me,
Void of everything,
But hate and pain.
With hate all that you've created
Is decimated.
My anger turns to hatred.
The longer I have to wait;
The more you'll have to suffer
You have abused me for far too long,
And I no longer feel sympathy.
Soon you will feel my pain
Like you once gave.
You have rotted away my mercy
With hate.
The lies you have told.
The bitterness you have shown.
It hurts too much to feel.
So I wrap my heart in bandages of steel.
Never gentle.
Never caressing.
I have become the creature you created.
