Puppets
Aren’t we all little puppets ?
Or dolls to put on a show ?
We say our lines and act or feelings
And then we’re lost in ourselves real low
We blame each other
What’s the reason for this ?
Our human body is not perfect
Our soul will never be full of bliss
Somebody up there is pulling our strings
And waiting for us to realize
That it only takes one mind,
One single person to believe the lies
We’ve been told for so long
That this is what life should be
But what do we know about anything ?
We are too blind to see
We need to cut the strings and let loose
See the brilliant sun
To dance, laugh, and sing
The is how it should be done
But we are scared to end the power
We don’t want to make decisions ourselves
We wait on others and blame them
When we do something else
What is we all were little dancers
In a Vegas show ?
We don’t really know what’s going on
And it’s time everybody should know .
