I Crumble At Your Feet

Contributed by frozensuicide on Saturday, 7th December 2002 @ 12:15:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I crumbled at your feet.
The distant sound of your voice.
The beating of your calm heart at my chest,
Holding me from the pain outside.

The coldness of the floor retaliates,
You fell away from me.
An endless scream piercing the velvet skies.
Diamonds encrusted.

Remorse in your words,
Grimace in your yes.
You fell away,
Never to return.

I thought I had someone.
I thought you were there for me.
But then you fell away.
And said good-bye.

I cant just let go.
I can’t just let you say goodbye.
Your warmth leaving your blue eyes.
Tumble to your love.

Deep down inside of me
I know your still there.
I got you with me,
I know your hear.

Don’t leave me.
Don’t say goodbye.
